Grandma's Scones x Lee Kum Kee spicy scones collaboration

Lee Kum Kee has teamed up with Wan Chai favourite Grandma’s Scones to throw a chili-infused cat among the traditional tea-time pigeons. The limited-time collaboration marries Hong Kong’s condiment giant with British-American baking techniques to deliver four savory-sweet scones spiked with chili oils.

The spicy scone collection

Lee Kum Kee and Grandma’s Scones have created four distinct baked goods utilizing the condiment brand’s signature chili oil range.

  • Crunchy Garlic Chili Cheese & Tomato Scone: Spiked with Lee Kum Kee Crunchy Garlic Chili Oil, featuring Parmigiano cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and crispy fried garlic bits.
  • Savory Dried Shrimp & Chinese Sausage Scone: Combines Extra Spicy Shrimp Chili Oil with Cantonese cured sausage and dried shrimp for an intense savory kick.
  • Mala Peanut & Green Onion Scone: Blends Sichuan Chili Relish with chopped peanuts and fresh spring onions for a nutty, tongue-numbing finish.
  • Green Sichuan Pepper Berry Chocolate Scone: Pairs Green Sichuan Pepper Oil with strawberries, raspberries, and dark chocolate, balancing sweet fruitiness with citrusy tingling notes.

Gift boxes

Grandma’s Scones is offering a limited gift box to take the fiery experience home. Priced at HK$50, the gift set includes four bite-sized scones in a featured flavour, one full jar of Lee Kum Kee chili oil (75g-85g), a custom-designed drawstring bag, and a commemorative postcard.
